Programs and Study Options

We offer a unique academic experience designed to help you achieve your career goals faster.

  • Our undergraduate degree for domestic and international students takes 2 years to complete and follows a longer academic year than many other institutions.

  • The academic year is divided into three trimesters, each running for 13 weeks (12 weeks of classes and 1 week for exams or assessments).

  • A full-time study load involves just two full days of classes per week, giving you flexibility to balance your studies with work, internships, and life in Sydney.

Currently, we offer full-time study only for international students, unless you qualify for credit through recognition of prior learning or are in the final stages of your program with a reduced study load.

We deliver courses in various formats:

Face-to-Face (on campus)
Hybrid (a mix of on-campus and online learning — international students must complete at least two-thirds of their studies on campus each trimester)

Our approach is holistic, focusing on academic excellence, mental health and well-being, peer engagement, community connection, and pastoral care. At The Fashion Institute, you’ll find a supportive community to help you succeed both academically and personally.
